How-to Sign Up
Restrictions
Students who desire to live in these apartments must be juniors or seniors as of August 1, 2008.
An "Intent to Rent" form must be signed at the Office of Residential and Greek Life, 327 W. 7th St. Forms are available beginning March 5, 2008 through March 14, 2008. Everyone in your group must sign the "Intent to Rent" form. This form is an honor-bound agreement that you will sign a lease unless you have compelling reasons preventing you from doing so.
We request that everyone try to group by 2, 3 or 4, but sign up is available to everyone. If you are a group of 2 or 3, you must be willing to accept 1 or 2 roommates(s) respectively. We will try to match desires, within reason. If you are a single, count on being placed with others.
Room Allocation
Room allocation of the apartments will be done by straight seniority. After sign up has closed on March 14, we will notify you whether or not you received a room/apartment. Students who are selected to live in the apartments will be required to sign a lease in the Business Office, Westminster Hall, Room 104, by April 4. A one-month security deposit ($380) must be paid at the time of signing the lease.
Other Options
Residential Houses (theme houses) will also be available for the 2007-2008 school year. Applications will be available on March 12 and due by March 28 by 4:00 p.m. at the Office of Residential and Greek Life, 327 W. 7th St.. Residential House selection will be held on April 3, 2008. Residential House selection will be run the same as last year. Priority for Residential Houses will be based on seniority and GPA alone. All current students may apply but normally juniors and above are competitive.
If you will be a junior or senior next year and desire or need to live in the Residence Halls, please contact Chrissy Maddox at extension 5242, 327 W. 7th St..
Contact the Office of Residential and Greek Life if you have additional questions at 573-592-5242
