Mission Statement:
The Office of Community Action & Service-Learning will strive to prepare Westminster students to be thoughtful, concerned, and engaged citizens ready to lead not only in the local community, but also in the global community through: - Promoting the servant leadership philosophy and the social change model of leadership
- Fostering respect for the dignity of all persons
- Instilling a dedication of service to others
- Enhancing student learning through community based learning such as service-learning
- Promoting positive community change
- Engaging students, faculty, staff and community organizations in relationships that serve to fulfill Westminster's mission

Fight for the Children:
The votes have been counted and the next BIG service project for Westminster is…Fight for the Children!
Fighting pediatric disease worldwide, help build a children’s health clinic in Rwanda through a partnership with the Fulton community, tie into the Symposium http://www.fightforthechildren.org/
Year End Wrap Up
As we wrap up this year’s project, Project ONE, we are excited to announce that as a campus we have completed over 11,000 hours of service and we are still counting!

Social Justice/CIVICUS
CIVICUS is the building block from which the Westminster's Center for Leadership & Service was created. It is a student-driven program dedicated to developing "leaders of character" through community involvement, learning through service and active citizenship.
