Meet the Christian Leadership Council
The mission of the Westminster Spiritual Life Program is to encourage and enable members of the Westminster community to grow and express themselves spiritually by providing meaningful opportunities for worship, service, fellowship, study, and pastoral counseling. In addition, the program is committed to fostering a sense of inclusive community on campus and an awareness of the needs of others.
Christian Leadership Council –Provides opportunities for students to come together for a variety of programs. Students can involved in campus groups such as Campus Crusade for Christ, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Lutheran Student Fellowship, and Young Life.
Interfaith Task Force– encourages the community to share their faith/beliefs/values within the context of their spiritual practices, academic studies, and everyday life. The R&R, an Interfaith Spirit Spot housed on 3N of Reeves Library, offers students, faculty and staff the opportunity to Rest & Reflect in a meditative environment. The Spiritual Graffiti wall offers guided personal reflection and visual discussion threads. YOUth in Rwanda Partnership is a service leadership opportunity to take WC’s message of Global Citizenship into the local community. It is a cornerstone program of the White House Presidential Initiative for Community Service in Higher Education. This collaborative program highlights the diversity found at WC and the travel/study options available to her students. WC heart on your sleeve asks “why are you here?” at service leadership events, asking students to connect their service impulse with their faith/belief/values.
